Evolution towards Smart and Software-Defined Internet of Things

The Internet of Things (IoT) is a mesh network interconnected objects with unique identifiers that can transmit data and communicate one another without the need for human intervention. IoT has brought future closer to us. It opened up new vast domains connecting not only people, but also all kinds simple phenomena around With billions heterogeneous devices connected Internet, architecture must evolve accommodate expected increase in generation while improving security efficiency connectivity. Traditional architectures are primitive incapable extending functionality productivity infrastructure’s desired levels. Software-Defined Networking (SDN) virtualization two promising technologies cost-effectively handling scale versatility required IoT. In this paper, we discussed traditional networks SDN Network Function Virtualization (NFV), followed by an analysis NFV solutions implementing various ways.
